From Tykes to Juniors they all took to the field for the first time this season. From the little guys with their big smiles to the big guys intense handshakes, teammates reunited for the beginning of another great season to come. GO STALLIONS GO!!! We remind all players and parents to bring a friend out to the field as we are always in need of future Stallions.
This year there will be a mandatory deposit for football equipment given out by the Stallions Associations.
Levels Tykes, Atom and Mosquito will be required to bring a post dated check (November 1, 2015) of $150 when they pick up their equipment.
Levels Peewee, Bantam, Midget and Junior will be required to bring a post dated check (November 1, 2015) of $300 when they pick up their equipment.
The check will be returned to you when or if all the equipment is returned in good condition.
If you have any football shoes that are too small for your kids you can bring them to the field if you want to give them away. For the next 4 weeks we'll set up a table at the chalet and people can drop off a pair and/or pick up a pair.
Check out this interesting video on the reconditioning and recertification that is done to the Stallions helmets by Riddell.
In an effort to reduce costs and prevent any increases in fees, the Stallions Football Association is looking for volunteer First Aid Workers. We would like to know if there are any parents/older siblings who have the following qualification's and would like to join a team of "Volunteer First Aid Workers" that would be available during practices and games. Ultimately we would like to have at least 1 volunteer at every practice and game for every level. Anyone who is interested please send your contact information to email@example.com. We'll be organizing a meeting in the near future.
Qualifications:First aid worker is a person who has successfully completed a training course in first aid, CPR and AED courses equivalent to general secourism (1 or 2 days) certified by the Red Cross, the company rescue or ambulance Saint Jean, and holds an updated certification.
If you are interested in taking the required training we would be willing to subsidize the cost on some sort of commitment agreement.
