Saint-Lazare Stallions Seeking Volunteer Coaches for Girls NFL FLAG Teams

Girls football is experiencing tremendous growth across North America, and Saint-Lazare is no exception. This season, the Saint-Lazare Stallions are proud to offer dedicated NFL FLAG girls' teams, giving young athletes the opportunity to discover a dynamic, inclusive, and accessible sport. To support this growth, we are currently looking for passionate volunteer coaches to join our program.

Why Girls Flag Football?

Flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports for young girls. As a non-contact sport, it allows athletes to develop speed, agility, coordination, and confidence in a safe and positive environment. Flag football has also been added to the program for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, highlighting the sport's incredible growth and future opportunities for athletes worldwide.

At the Stallions, our goal is to provide girls throughout Vaudreuil-Soulanges with a sports experience where they can learn, grow, and have fun while developing lifelong values such as teamwork, leadership, respect, and perseverance.

A New Opportunity for Young Athletes in Our Community

This year, our NFL FLAG program offers dedicated girls' divisions across multiple age groups, providing athletes with an environment designed specifically for their development. Each team participates in weekly practices and games throughout the season, allowing players to build skills, friendships, and confidence both on and off the field.

As interest in girls' football continues to grow, we need positive leaders who can help guide and inspire the next generation of athletes.

We Need You!

Contrary to what many people think, you do not need previous coaching experience—or even a football background—to become a volunteer coach.

We are primarily looking for individuals who:

• Enjoy working with children

• Want to make a positive impact in their community

• Have a positive and encouraging attitude

• Value teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship

• Want to help young athletes build confidence and develop new skills

Training, resources, and ongoing support are provided by the organization to help every coach succeed in their role.

Coaches often play a much larger role than they realize. They become mentors, role models, and sources of inspiration for young athletes.
