Last Monday, the St-Lazare Stallions had the opportunity to visit the students at Mount Pleasant Elementary School, and it was an exceptional experience!
Accompanied by Coach Kevin (Atom), Coach Dan (Mosquito), and our energetic mascot Blitz, we brought football directly to the schoolyard to introduce students to the fun, teamwork, and excitement of the sport.

A Fun and Accessible Introduction to Football
Students from grades 1 through 6 had the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities:
Flag football games
Basic skill drills (passing, catching, agility)
Interactive team challenges
The goal went far beyond football—it was all about getting active, having fun, and building confidence in a positive and inclusive environment.
Blitz kept the energy high all day, bringing smiles and encouragement to all participants!
Strengthening the Community Through Sport
The Stallions are committed to being active in the community, and visits like this are a great example of that mission in action.
By working with schools like Mount Pleasant Elementary School, we can:
Introduce youth to football in a safe and supportive way
Encourage physical activity from a young age
Help kids discover new passions
Coach Kevin and Coach Dan took time to connect with the students and showed that football is accessible to everyone, regardless of experience.
From the Schoolyard to the Field
For many students, this was their first introduction to football—and we hope it won’t be their last!
The Stallions offer programs for all ages:
Atom (flag, ages 6–8)
Mosquito (ages 9–10)
Peewee (ages 11–12)
Bantam (ages 13–14)
LFMM Flag – U17, U14, U12, U10
Girls Flag League – U17, U14, U12, U10
Whether your child is trying a new sport or looking to develop their skills, there’s a place for them with the Stallions.
Thank You, Mount Pleasant!
A big thank you to the staff and students at Mount Pleasant for the warm welcome—especially the physical education teachers Mr. Smith and Ms. Jenn, as well as principal Mme Daoust. The enthusiasm and participation from the students made this visit truly memorable.
We hope to see many of them out on the field very soon!
If your child enjoyed our visit or is interested in learning more about football, we would love to welcome you to the Stallions family.
